The end of Scout Season is celebrated with a banquet filled with silly skits, good food (even better this year), and of course an awards ceremony. This is when kids get to feel proud of all they've accomplished in their Dens throughout the year. This is when they officially get the badges and go from Lion to Tiger, Tigers to Wolves, Wolves to Bears, and so forth. The biggest transition is the crossover ceremony for our 5th grade Webelo 2s who are bridging over to Troop 434. The older boys who've graduated out of our ranks come back to celebrate alongside us and welcome newbies to their ranks. They even did their classic "hit by a bus" skit and had the little guys laughing hysterically.
The greatest upgrade in this year's B&G was the addition of Chef Rich Pepino who basically provided a fully catered spread complete with homemade ciabatta bread, baked ziti, buttered noodles, salad, and meatballs. Oh and there was a fancy cake too.
Congratulations to all the boys who received their Arrow of Life badge. Also transitioning away from the pack are 2 key Pack leaders: Scoutmaster McClory and Committee Chair Landon. Thank you for your service, we will miss you!
